The faculty of Education has been restructured and its present name, Institute of Teacher Education and Pedagogical Science (ITEPS) has recently been given to it after the University has introduced BPR.

• Deliver training on the basis of the new Ethiopian Education (Training) policy.

• To do scientific researches in order to generate new technologies and acquiring sustainable utilization for effective economic change in the society
• To disseminate technological evidences and skills to the stake holders and construct strong positive attitude of students towards education
